Welcome to our third quarterly update of the year — packed with community highlights, volunteer recognition, and exciting ways to get involved with our mission in Panama.

💡 Brand New Fundraiser: Our Thursday Marketplace Coupon Book is now on sale! For just $25, you’ll enjoy offers from 35 local vendors plus 10 loyalty cards, valid until April 2026. All proceeds go directly to supporting the construction of the first Fénix Community. Available every Thursday from 9am to 1pm — rain or shine.

💛 Volunteer Spotlight: This quarter, we’re proud to honour Sandra Lautenschlager. With over 150 hours of dedicated service, Sandra has played a key role in EPF’s events — from last year’s yard sale to this year’s art show and the new coupon book launch. Her creativity, commitment, and tireless energy have made a lasting impact.

📦 Annual Yard Sale Success: On 14th June, our 2nd Annual Yard Sale raised $1,187 — thanks to Sandra’s leadership and a wonderful team of volunteers who donated, sorted, and helped shoppers throughout the day.

🌟 Real Lives, Real Impact: We share the story of a young mother who found herself alone and homeless — until EPF and its community stepped in to provide housing, essentials, and, most importantly, hope.

🎄 Save the Date – Holiday Fundraiser: More Mingle. Lots of Holiday Jingle — our festive evening of fun, fashion, music, and giving — will be held on 10th December at the Bistro at Bahia. Tickets (£65) go on sale from 15th October. Expect a buffet, live music, a fashion show, raffle prizes and plenty of dancing.

🎟 Coming in 2026: We’ll be launching our first ever Reverse Draw Raffle — a fun twist where the last ticket drawn wins the grand prize (with spot prizes along the way). Keep an eye out for more info soon!
